6 rows
| Fact | Instinct | Wabi |
|---|---|---|
| Data it can access | Instinct: Instinct indexes data from the accounts you connect and can act on them for you, including signing in with usernames and passwords you give it. Disconnecting an account does not delete what was indexed; delete it at app.instinct.com/workspace. instinct.com · checked | Wabi: You choose connections (email, calendar, contacts, location, photos, read-only health data, and on Mac files, Notes and Messages) and can revoke device permissions at any time. Disconnect a service under Profile > Connectors to stop further access; Wabi then deletes the connected data it holds within 30 days, except content already used in conversations, which stays until you delete those conversations or your account. wabi.ai · checked |
| Asks before sensitive actions | Instinct: Depends on your settings The terms authorize Instinct to take actions "as the Services may deem are responsive to your Input" and say it "may implement safeguards, confirmation requirements, or other controls on certain Actions" without promising them; you are responsible for configuring extra safeguards. In group chats your personal Instinct checks your permissions before sharing or acting. instinct.com · checked | Wabi: Yes "Wabi checks with you before important actions that require your approval". On a Mac it sends only messages you approve (privacy notice). apps.apple.com · checked |
| Sees your passwords | Instinct: Yes The privacy policy gives the example of giving the assistant "your username and password for third-party accounts so that the personal assistant can sign into these accounts on your behalf". instinct.com · checked | Wabi: Not stated |
| Trains on your data | Instinct: Yes, unless you opt out Materials may be used to train AI models unless you opt out at app.instinct.com/settings; material flagged for safety review may still be used after opt-out. Items you add to the Vault are never used for training. instinct.com · checked | Wabi: Not clearly stated Connected-account content (email, calendar, Slack and so on) is not used to train Wabi's or its model providers' models, and providers are contractually barred from training. The notice does not say the same for your chats and task content, which may be used for internal research and product development. wabi.ai · checked |
| Isolation | Instinct: Not stated | Wabi: Cloud service: AI requests go to Google, Anthropic and OpenAI, and website tasks run in hosted browser sessions. Wallet items (credentials, cards, IDs) are encrypted and released only after you authenticate on your device. wabi.ai · checked |
